It is an immense privilege to have Shri G.K. Pillai, the Chairman of the RoDTEP Committee, and his delegation visit the Sami-Sabinsa facility at Kunigal in Karnataka. Sami-Sabinsa team had an interactive session with the RoDTEP committee along with the heads of the Export Promotion Council - SHEFEXIL.

The team was welcomed by Dr. Anju Majeed, Director, Sami-Sabinsa Group, and they were briefed on the ways the extract industries handle the bioresources and convert them into high-value added export products. The delegates were taken through a visual understanding of the process from raw material input, manufacturing, and final packaging in the factory.

It is also an honour for the Sami-Sabinsa family to have its Anniversary Edition unveiled by the distinguished guests and Dr. Anju Majeed, which narrates its 35-year growth and journey in the industry.

Later in the day, Sami-Sabinsa and executives from the Botanical Extracts Industry had an interaction with Shri G.K. Pillai, the members of RoDTEP, Chief Commissioner, and Customs Commissioners in Bengaluru Zone, at a get-together meet hosted by SHEFEXIL in Bengaluru.
