Sami-Sabinsa, the multi-national health science company known for providing sustainable natural, well-researched ingredients, will be exhibiting at the International Food Ingredients & Additives (IFIA) Expo from May 22–24, 2024, at the Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Center. The expo primarily focuses on functional foods, dietary supplements, and natural ingredient categories, and is a significant platform for food ingredient manufacturers.

Sami-Sabinsa’s technical and marketing team will be available in booth #1325, South Hall, to describe Sami-Sabinsa’s top-selling and trending products. Products to be featured at the expo include:

  • Curcumin C3 Complex®, obtained from the dried rhizomes of Curcuma longa and standardized for a minimum of 95% Curcuminoids.
  • BioPerine®, a natural bioavailability enhancer, standardized for minimum 95% Piperine.
  • C3 Reduct®, a cascading antioxidant with cumulatively stronger activity compared to parent Curcuminoids for maintaining organ health.
  • LactoSpore®, Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856, the popular clinically validated, GRAS affirmed, shelf-stable probiotic.

Other Sami-Sabinsa products that are of major interest to formulators, such as Salaretin® and Boswellin®, will be on display at the expo.

Sami-Sabinsa will also host educational seminars on its novel ingredients that are gaining popularity in nootropic and weight management categories:

  • On May 23, 2024, between 1:30 PM – 1: 45 PM, Taku Yoshiki, Senior General Manager, Sabinsa, will present the science behind its innovative ingredients that are used in nootropic applications, including Bacopin®, Sabroxy®, Centellin®, Curcumin C3 Complex®, etc.
  • On May 24, 2024, between 2:30 PM – 2: 45 PM, Tatsuya Maruyama, Sales Manager, Sabinsa, will present the key ingredients from Sami-Sabinsa for diet and weight management, including Terminalia bellirica, Salaretin®, Citrin®, Garcitrin®, and Fabenol®.

At the event, Sami-Sabinsa will debut various prototype formulations, including White Curcuminoid Chewable tablets, LactoSpore® and DigeZyme® Chewable tablets, Curcumin C3 Complex gummies, and other innovative formulations. These prototypes are formulated to meet diverse health support applications, including immune support, digestive health, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory support, etc.
