Dr. Arvind Saklani, V.P., Agribiotech, Sami-Sabinsa Group, has been inducted as a Member of the ‘Nutra Task Force’ constituted under the Chairmanship of the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India by the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). The 18-member Nutra Task Force brings together policymakers from the Department of Commerce, FSSAI, MoFPI, MoEFCC, NBA, DPITT, Tariff Unit of the MoF, CSIR, and DBT, as well as experts and thought leaders from the 7 Nutra industries. The Task Force will provide guidance and thrust to the Nutraceutical Industry and unlock its growth potential by addressing the hurdles and challenges that the industry is facing.
